Jim Hallam’s Letter of Recommendation for Annie
June 22, 2023
Dear Neighbor,
At the end of December, I complete my six-year term as a Supervisor of Edgmont Township. I want to thank you for the opportunity to serve you in this capacity. I have learned a great deal and grown in appreciation of our special community.
I am considering who you will elect for this responsible position in November. Without qualification, I recommend Annie Thorne to you. She has attended every Supervisor’s meeting for the past two years as well as the Planning Commission meetings. She was the only resident who attended the Budget Hearing. Annie is energetic, passionate about Edgmont, and wants to make a difference. She is bright, articulate, creative, and proactive about open communication and community building.
Annie is a business owner in our community and has been a member of her Home Owners Association Board for eight years. She has been a community resident for twelve years. There is no doubt in my mind that Annie Thorne will be an asset to Edgmont who will make you proud that she represents you. Please give her careful consideration as your candidate of choice on November 7th, Election Day.
With appreciation,
Jim Hallam
Vice-Chairman
Edgmont Board of Supervisors
